Brabazon named in the next generation of new towns

City Green Town Centre at Brabazon

Brabazon has been named by the government’s new town task force as one of just 12 locations across the UK recommended for 'new town' designation.

The inclusion in the list marks a major milestone for the West of England, cementing Brabazon’s role as a flagship for sustainable growth, housing delivery and economic opportunity.

New town designation would unlock access to government support, accelerating infrastructure investment and catalysing growth in key sectors such as aerospace and engineering.
